The Information Management team is responsible for performing day to day document, records & archives management activities. Providing guidelines and support to all departments and ensuring compliance with legislative obligations and good corporate governance.

Our customers are the rest of Council and we pride ourselves on being able to help them deliver their services thru effective management of their information.

About the Position

A primary component of this role is managing the flow of information into and out of the Council ensuring all documents are registered in our document management system and are work flowed to the right person at the right time.  This role will also support the balance of the team in managing our archives and lifting the Councils level of knowledge related to our compliance requirements associated with the information we receive, hold and issue.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in document, records or archives management
  • Experience in the use of an electronic document management system is essential
  • Experience in the provision of quality customer service
  • Proven ability to work effectively, set priorities and manage variable workloads to ensure successful completion of tasks within prescribed time-frames
  • Demonstrated capacity to work effectively and contribute to a positive a team environment, manage own performance and development

Requirements

  • Satisfactory National Police Check
  • Other pre-employment checks may be required
