Active Monash is seeking an experienced and motivated Learn to Swim Coordinator to lead the delivery of aquatic programs across MARC, CAHC and ORC.
This is a key leadership role within our aquatics team, responsible for coordinating high-quality programs while building a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
About the Position
Reporting to the Area Manager Aquatics, you will:
- Lead and support Learn to Swim Team Leaders, Pool Deck Supervisors and Instructors
- Coordinate Learn to Swim and School Swimming programs across multiple facilities
- Drive a strong team culture focused on collaboration, accountability and inclusion
- Support staff development, training and retention initiatives
- Ensure programs are delivered safely, effectively and to a high customer service standard
- Build positive relationships with families, schools and the broader community
Skills and Experience
You are a confident and capable leader who:
- Has experience in swim school or aquatic program coordination
- Demonstrates the ability to lead, coach and develop staff
- Is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Has strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Understands the importance of both people and performance
Requirements
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Level 2 First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- AUSTSWIM qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Satisfactory National Police Check; and
- Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
