The Community Services Division has the responsibility for a range of services including Active Monash, Aged Care, Early Childhood and Community Strengthening. This position forms part of the Community Strengthening team.

About the Position

The Team Leader will coordinate and lead programs and activities to improve community connectedness and health and wellbeing outcomes for Monash residents including managing the successful implementation and delivery of the Community grants program and overseeing the Volunteers @ Monash program to ensure the best delivery of the program and provide strategic direction. The position is also responsible for leading a dedicated team of professionals.

Skills and Experience

  • Proficient knowledge in the delivery of large and complex community grant program
  • Experience in creating, delivering and /or facilitating community capacity building and community strengthening initiatives for community groups. 
  • Well-developed report writing and presentation skills and ability to tailor styles to a variety of audiences. 
  • Sound data management skills 
  • Sound budget and project management skills
