The Prosecutions and Infringement Management unit plays a key role in ensuring fair, consistent, and lawful enforcement of Council regulations. We work collaboratively across the organisation to support compliance outcomes and uphold community confidence.

About the Position

In this role, you will assess and determine infringement review applications in a timely and accurate manner, applying legislation, Council policies, and sound judgement. You will achieve quality outcomes by preparing clear, well‑reasoned written decisions that address customer concerns, support fair and consistent enforcement and maintain community confidence in Council processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation, Council policies, and procedures to make sound decisions
  • Proven experience managing a high‑volume caseload with accuracy, attention to detail, and competing deadlines
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, well‑reasoned correspondence explaining decisions
  • Well‑developed judgement and problem‑solving skills within established guidelines and legislative frameworks
  • Experience responding professionally to customer enquiries and resolving matters in a regulatory environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to support consistent compliance outcomes
