About the Position
The Membership Consultant provides a professional sales focus for prospective club members, implements sales and marketing strategies and actively sells club memberships. The Membership Consultants’ role is integral to the continued growth and success of the Recreation Centres.
Candidates should be available to work Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, with flexibility to work at least one evening shift per week.
- Act as a frontline representative of Active Monash
- Make a difference in our club culture by providing a warm, genuine and professional level of service in a fast-paced environment
- Conduct initial introductions, presentations and tours of our facilities
- Confidently communicate with members and guests via phone, email, and face-to-face
Skills and Experience
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in sales, particularly in initiating and developing new membership sales
- Administrative and statistical/data record keeping experience
- Point of Sale, database management and Microsoft office suite skills
Requirements
- Right to work in Australia
- Employee Working with Children’s Check
- Satisfactory National Police Check
- Level II (Senior) First Aid qualification and CPR
- Current Driver’s License and ability to travel to various work locations if required
- Ability to work a variety of day, night and weekend shifts across our three facilities in Glen Waverley, Oakleigh and Clayton
