About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Change Advisor to lead and embed change management practices across Council. This pivotal role will partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive successful change initiatives, build internal capability, and ensure our people are supported through various concurrent transformation projects.
The role will deliver change management across enterprise projects and strategic initiatives, including strategy development, planning and design, implementation, and evaluation.
Skills and Experience
- Leading the design and delivery of change strategies across people, process, and technology initiatives
- Building change capability through coaching, training, and development of leaders and change champions
- Developing and implementing change tools including impact assessments, stakeholder engagement plans, and communications
- Advising senior leaders on change readiness, risk mitigation, and adoption strategies
- Collaborating across the organisation to embed change methodology and drive continuous improvement
- Monitoring and reporting on change effectiveness and outcomes
Requirements
- Change Management certification (e.g. Prosci, PCI, APMG, Agile Change Leadership) or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in leading change across complex, multi-site organisations
- Strong knowledge of change management principles, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- High attention to detail, strong time management, and a collaborative mindset
- Satisfactory National Police Check
- Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role
