Monash's Engineering Department has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as Technical Officer Asset Protection.

About the Position

Reporting to the Team Leader Asset Protection this position is responsible for providing high quality and timely outcomes relating to customer service delivery and the achievement of team/department set objectives. 

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification combined with proven experience in both mainframe and PC based computer applications, including experience in the operation of customer request system applications. Alternatively, no tertiary qualification but substantial experience in an administrative role, particularly within an Engineering and/or Asset Management environment.
  • Highly developed verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate at all levels and with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead a team with demonstrated recognition as a team player.
  • Skills are required in time management, setting priorities and the planning and organising of one’s own work.
  • Ability to implement and provide excellent customer service.
