About the Position

As the Zero Waste Team Leader, you will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver strategic waste education and engagement programs. You’ll drive behaviour change initiatives that support recycling, waste avoidance, and circular economy participation across Monash.

Skills and Experience

• Proven leadership experience in managing teams and strategic programs
• Strong understanding of waste avoidance, recycling, and circular economy principles
• Experience designing and delivering inclusive community engagement initiatives
• Contract and budget management skills across multiple programs
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
• Ability to manage competing priorities and foster collaboration

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence
• Working with Children Check
• Satisfactory National Police Check
