The position in the Aged and Community Support Team and is responsible for providing a range of timely and accurate administrative support and rostering services that are designed to maintain the safety and independence of older Monash residents within the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP).
About the Position:
The position is the key point of contact for clients and is responsible for ensuring the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) home maintenance and modification referrals are processed including data entry in My Aged Care (MAC) and consulting with the contractor and other stake holders.

- Excellent communication skills along with attention to detail with accurate and thorough data entry required.
Skills and Experience:
- Qualifications and/or experience in office administration within a community environment and/or local government environment.
- Experience in client-based software systems, and other computer systems, data entry and report generation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage own time effectively and use initiative.
- Demonstrated experience in the invoicing process.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with people both within Council and the community.
- Demonstrated understanding of issues related to older people, people with disabilities, their families and carers, including cultural sensitivity.
Requirement of the position:
- Satisfactory National Police Check and
- Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
