About the Position:
The Pool Deck Supervisor entails Supervision and Training of staff as well as the day to day running of the of the Minky Swim School Aquatic program.
The role has a focus on providing guidance, support, and training to the learn to swim staff. Ensuring that both themselves and the learn to swim staff are adhering to policy and procedures at all times. To be a positive role model, dedicated to leading and motivating the Learn to Swim team to build strong, engaging relationships with our students and parents while creating a safe and friendly work environment. Responsible for conducting level assessments and following up on customer queries.
Successful applicant MUST apply and accept Learn To Swim Teacher position.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in delivering swimming lessons to a vast range of levels & backgrounds
- Point of Sale, database management and Microsoft office suite skills
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills
- Experience in providing instructions & feedback to others
- Well-developed problem-solving and complaint resolution abilities.
Requirement of the position:
- Must be available for any variety of daytime, night, and weekend shifts.
- Must be willing to undertake provided training opportunities for upskilling and professional development.
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics
- AUSTSWIM Assessor
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR
- Working With Children Check
