About the Position

You will partner with key stakeholders across Monash to provide them advice and hands on solution design for the successful implementation of organisation wide programs and practices that supports culture, uplift capability and builds high-performance. This is a hands on and strategic role where you can really make a positive impact.

This permanent position is part of a supportive and passionate People & Safety department and reports to the Manager Talent & Organisational Development and is a great fit if you are currently leading a small team.

Skills and Experience

  • Design, manage and deliver programs and initiatives to build the capability of our leaders and employees
  • Develop and implement organisational development strategies in areas such as leadership, workforce planning, performance, engagement, and reward & recognition
  • Manage the Performance Planning & Development cycle and drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Oversee the Employee Engagement Survey process, including design, data analysis, and action planning
  • Lead the design and implementation of learning & development initiatives, incorporating face-to-face, online, and blended learning solutions
  • Manage the Reward & Recognition Program and Council’s Divisional and Annual Awards
  • Oversee Council’s induction programs, compliance training, and professional development strategies

 Requirements

  • Proven experience in organisational development in a complex organisation
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and/or Organisational Development
  • Demonstrated success in designing and delivering organisational development initiatives that drive business impact
  • Strong coaching, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in project management, workforce planning and employee engagement strategies
  • Satisfactory National Police Check
  • Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements
