Our Waste Services team forms part of Sustainable Monash, providing a range of asset cleansing services, operating a highly regarded Recycling and Waste Centre and supported by a highly competent administration and customer service team. We are currently seeking outstanding individuals to join a dynamic and committed Assets Cleansing team for a rewarding opportunity.
About the Position
We are seeking hard working individuals who take pride in their efforts, to join our Assets Cleansing team. If you are someone who enjoys working in a team, learning new skills and can work either night shift or early starts, this is the opportunity for you. You may already be in the waste industry or looking for a career change.
Reporting to the Supervisor, your role can include –
- Litter bin clearance
- Road sweeping
- Pressure washing paved surfaces
- Leaf blowing
- Litter control
- Cleansing of bin surrounds and other assets
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience operating machinery/vehicles
- Preferred experience in the waste industry
- Commitment in consistently delivering high quality customer experience
- Experience in working variety of shifts including nightshift, early start times and day shift
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Commitment to contributing to a safe work environment
- Medium Rigid Licence
- Satisfactory National Police Check; and
- Pre-employment medical examination
