About the Position
The Senior Digital and Technology (DT) Project Manager will work within the digital transformation team to enhance project delivery services. You will work closely with organisational change, communications, and workforce leads and use your broad Project Management experience to establish a robust project management methodology. You will lead the people, change and process perspectives and contribute to delivering a new and unified service delivery operating model for multiple functional areas of the Council.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt and coach modern Agile, DevOps approaches. Lead Project Teams and Project planning sessions, articulating specific project details, milestones, and deliverables. Participate in Tender processes, including develop, submission, application review, procurement process, and preparing reports for Council, providing articulate and understandable information.
Skills and Experience
- Significant extensive experience and a track record as a Project Manager in large, complex environments
- Project Management qualifications – Prince2/PMP
- Experience in project delivery in DevOps environment
- Experience in managing resources and budgets
- Procurement and system selection experience
- Excellent ability to establish effective relationships with all TI Programs/Project stakeholders to ensure collaboration and understanding whilst fostering and sustaining strategic partnerships across teams, Directorates and the broader organisation cluster
- Change management experience working with people to embrace technology.
- 10+ years’ substantial experience in a similar position managing technology projects and leading people, with the capability to work outside of scope if necessary
Requirements
- A current and valid Victorian Driver's Licence
- Satisfactory National Police Check
- Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements
