Legal Services Coordinator (City of Monash)
Fixed-term (10 - 12 months), full-time position, Local Government Band 7 ($96,509 - $108,000)

About the role:
- Oversee Council’s legal services function and provide quality legal advice and assistance
- Ensure compliance with a wide range of legislation and Council policies
- Manage Council’s legal services panel contract
- Undertake the role and responsibilities of privacy and freedom of information officer
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified legal professional with an excellent understanding of local government and provide a timely, cost effective and accurate legal service to the organisation.
You will have an in depth understanding of freedom of information and privacy legislation and will have the capacity to undertake freedom of information requests and ensure compliance with freedom of information and privacy legislation.
