About the Position:

You will provide high level Executive Support to the Mayor and Councillors.  You will use your excellent interpersonal skills to develop positive working relationships across the organisation.  As a result, you will play a key role in ensuring good governance at Monash.

 

Skills and Experience:

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • High level emotional intelligence and the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
  • A strong orientation to delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidentiality, tact and discretion.
  • Highly-developed negotiation skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing service enhancement, including digitisation.

 

Requirement of the position (if applicable):

  • Minimum three-years-experience in a similar role.
  • Employee Working with Children’s Check
  • Satisfactory National Police Check; and
  • Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.

 

Essential Information:

In accordance with the Chief Health Officer direction, all local government employees must be fully vaccinated from 26 November, 2021. Successful candidates will be required to demonstrate evidence of vaccination status or medical exemption prior to commencement.
